CreaDive – Dive into creative industries for employment!
In the CreaDive project, current and future professionals in the creative industries are coached, and a permanent, collaborative, and multicultural platform for their work is developed. Free entrepreneurship and career path coaching periods are organized for creative industry professionals in a total of six phases during the years 2024-2025.
The project is implemented by the Humak University of Applied Sciences, with co-financing from the European Social Fund+.
The autumn 2024 coaching program is currently at full capacity – however, you can join the waiting list by filling out the application form by May 15, 2024 – we will contact you if spots become available!
Coaching
In spring 2024, cost-free CreaDive entrepreneurship and career path coaching sessions will begin. These sessions are intended for all creative industry professionals and future professionals in Southwest Finland. The coaching lasts for 4 months (3 hours of on-site coaching per week). Participants gain insights into various work methods in the creative industries, along with support for their career path and entrepreneurship. At the beginning of the coaching program, each participant undergoes an individual coaching path, aiming either for finding employment or starting their own business. If you are a student, it is recommended to inquire about the possibility of accrediting the spring coaching as part of your studies. The coaching is equivalent to approximately 5 credit points in terms of content and workload.
After completing the first coaching session, participants can continue to a four-month incubation coaching period. During this time, individuals, either alone or in a team, continue the guided development of their business idea and its introduction to the market. The content of this extension, or incubation coaching, includes developing the business idea using service design methods, sales and marketing coaching, teamwork skills, and business and financial management.
Creative industries working platform
The project is developing a permanent working platform through which future and current professionals in the creative industries can sell their expertise. The platform will be part of the creative industry ecosystem, comprising creative industry companies, third-sector actors, various creative spaces, education providers, and public sector employment and entrepreneurship support services. We are mapping the ecosystem and endeavoring to foster collaboration among its participants in a way that supports employment and entrepreneurship in the creative industries.
