Were you disappointed that you didn’t have time to join the CreaDive coaching? We are currently awaiting a funding decision for a new project called Co-Up, which is based on CreaDive. If funding is granted, the project will be carried out in collaboration between Humak and TAMK’s Proakatemia. The project will offer approximately six‑month team entrepreneurship coaching for professionals in the creative sector in Turku & Tampere. In addition, creative industry cooperatives will be engaged to provide mentoring for participants interested in working through a cooperative. If you want to be among the first to hear whether the project gets approved, leave your contact information using this form.
In the CreaDive project, we coached current and future professionals in the creative industries. Free entrepreneurship and career path coaching periods were organized for creative industry professionals in multiple phases during the years 2024-2025. In addition, we develop the creative sector ecosystem in the Southwest Finland area.
The project is implemented by the Humak University of Applied Sciences, with co-financing from the European Social Fund+.
CreaDive organised 5 cost-free entrepreneur and career coaching periods in 2024-2025. These sessions were intended for all creative industry professionals and future professionals in Southwest Finland. The coaching lasted for 4 months (3 hours of on-site coaching per week). Participants gained insights into various work methods in the creative industries, along with support for their career path and entrepreneurship. At the beginning of the coaching program, each participant was supported in planning an individual coaching path, aiming either for finding employment or starting their own business. The coaching was equivalent to approximately 5 credit points in terms of content and workload.
After completing the first coaching session, participants could continue to a four-month incubation coaching period. During this time, individuals, either alone or in a team, continued the guided development of their business idea and its introduction to the market. The content of incubation coaching included developing the business idea using service design methods, sales and marketing coaching, teamwork skills, and business and financial management.
CreaDive is also focused on developing the creative industries ecosystem in Southwest Finland. The ecosystem comprises creative industry businesses, third-sector organizations, various creative spaces, educational institutions, and public sector employment and entrepreneurship support services. Our aim was to map the ecosystem (which you can now find here: CreaDive Compass) and foster collaboration among its stakeholders in a way that supports employment and entrepreneurship in the creative industries.
